FRIENDS and family of a Burnley shop worker who is in hospital abroad after suffering a holiday horror smash have reached half of their £20,000 target.
Charlotte Robinson, an assistant at Topshop, was left fighting for her life after careering off the road and falling off a moped in Malia, Crete, a day before her 19th birthday. She fractured her skull and broke her pelvis and had been on a life-support machine.

Since then family and friends' efforts have raised nearly £10,000, towards the £20,000 needed to bring Charlotte home.
Miss Julie-Anne Gibbons, deputy manager at Topshop, said: "We all miss her so much here. We just want her to get well and hope that she makes the best possible recovery. She is a very popular member of the team. She is funny, bubbly and is a very good and generous person. Charlotte is always up for having a laugh and it is really quiet without her."
Her sister Kim, who flew to see Charlotte on Tuesday, leaves updates of the fund-raising on Facebook group "Get Charlotte Robinson Back Home".
This week she said: "I would like to say a huge thank you for everyone's continuing support. I would also like to say thank you to everyone who has helped organise and participated in our ongoing fund-raising events. The generosity is absolutely overwhelming. Thank you all again."
The group now has more than 3,400 members.
Charlotte, who is to undergo surgery to reinsert part of her skull, is recovering in a neurological ward after making steady progress in intensive care.
