Colne man arrested on suspicion of attempted knifepoint robbery
A 36-year-old man from Colne has been arrested on suspicion of an attempted knifepoint robbery in Nelson.
The incident happened between 7-10am and 7-20am on Rakeshouse Road when a 23-year-old man was threatened with a knife.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "A 36-year-old man from Colne was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until April 1st."
