Fire crews called out to blaze at Burnley General Hospital
The cause of a fire at Burnley General Hospital is being investigated today.
The blaze broke out in a fibreglass pillar outside the hospital just before 3pm yesterday.
Two fire engines from Burnley were called out with crews from Nelson and Colne and they used a hearth kit, triple extension ladder, dewalt saw, and hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
Crews were in attendance for half an hour.
