Burnley fans offered the chance to buy ‘unique slice of history’
The club recently acquired a stunning portrait of fans at Turf Moor painted by local artist and Clarets fan Michael Dacey, which will be hung in a prominent place at Turf Moor.
Michael’s brother Paul formally handed over the original this week to club president Jimmy McIlroy.

The first prints, priced at £19.14, will be made available at an evening of celebration commemorating the club’s epic 1914 FA Cup final victory.
As we approach the centenary of the 1-0 win over Liverpool at the Crystal Palace grounds, the BPFA are hosting the event in the 1882 Lounge on Thursday, April 24 (7.pm).
Author Mike Smith, whose book ‘The Road To Glory’ has been summarised in this year’s Claret & You, will be the guest speaker on the night as he chronicles the 1914 FA Cup campaign and the achievements by largely the same group of players as they won the First Division title seven years later.
