Burnley had to settle for a point against Fulham and Clarets fans have provided their verdicts on the result.

Ashley Barnes’ equaliser cancelled out Ola Aina’s opener. There were just three minutes between the two goals.

The 1-1 scoreline maintains the Clarets’ eight-point advantage over the visitors, who are 18th in the Premier League table.

Here’s how Burnley fans reacted to the news on social media:

@MichaelMarshal4: I'd have settled for this at 6.00pm.

@thatburnleylass: should have won that.

@theonlychew: Very tired performance. Could do with 3 points on Saturday to really keep us out of it now.

@SussexClaretBFC: Opportunity missed but suits us better than them. Need to win Saturday.

@bfcmichael: Better than nothing on to the next game.

@pye_luke: Deserved a win but a point isn't the worst result.

@Sam33084087: Happy with that after they went in front. Good to see Brownhill and Taylor playing again as well.
