TV star hails charity cab drivers as they go Benidorm or Bust
Tim Healy, who plays the cross dressing barman Les in the show, met up with one of the teams from Nelson's Graham Engineering yesterday after they set off on the 1,400 mile Benidorm or Bust charity challenge drive.
Eight pals, calling themselves Lancashire Lads who live in Burnley and Pendle, are driving to the Costa in two customised London black cabs.

But when Tim heard the friends were doing the rally to raise money for the GEM Appeal which provides research and treatment for incurable genetic diseases in children he was keen to meet them.
So it was set up for the star to greet the team as they arrived in Wilmslow yesterday on the way to Dover.
Team member Ian Fraser said: "Tim is one of the main patrons of the charity so were really pleased when he asked to meet with us."

The pals are among hundreds taking part in the rally which sets the challenge to complete the drive in a banger car costing no more than £500. The aim is to raise as much cash as possible for charity.
Along with Ian the team members are Chris Hogan, John Harrison, Mark Wolstenholme, Mark Fitzpatrick, Paul Ashworth, Ian Dawes and Steve Fagan
